Collect twelve saucers, and into each put a small amount
of some dry ingredient, the name of which may be guessed
by its taste.
In turn, take each Scout into another room,
blindfold him, and invite him to dip his finger into the saucer,
taste, and tell you what he thinks the name of each flavor
is.
You will write down the answers for him.
Suitable
ingredients are flour, corn-flour, sugar, mustard, spice,
salt, lemon crystals, nutmeg, and so on.
This competition
is harder than one would suppose as one flavor is apt to
dull the next.
