1) Keep a diary for 2 of the seasons, giving records with dates and places of not less than 10 birds, 10 plants, 10 trees and 10 butterflies or moths, and a short account of other animals which have been seen; and illustrate records with pencil sketches, photographs, and pressed leaves.

2) Make a collection of 50 different species of wild flowers, ferns and grasses. Give names, places and dates.
