The Scout is given five minutes to hide himself in a certain well-defined
section of woods. The others try to find him, the first man to see him acts as
the hider next time. If the hunting party cannot find the Scout they notify the
director, who blows his whistle, and the Scout may hide again, and as often as
he can elude his hunters.
This game differs from Escaped Convict in that the Scout stays in one place and makes no attempt to return to his starting
point.
