Minerals:  Where stones are not covered by snow. Go to quarries, cliffs and along streams.  A good contribution to the permanent Camp, the Troop or Council Headquarters or the school or community house.

Twigs of Woody Plants::  An interesting exhibit.

Leaves:  In the autumn and spring. 

bullet

Leaf Prints and Casts:  A collection of these made from colored leaves collected on autumn and spring hikes has real value.

Casts of Tracks:  Every Troop should make a collection. 

bullet

Birds' Nests: Autumn and winter are the only months when such a collection should be made.
